blues, swing, and hokum—witty, well-played, and womanly
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $18.50

Hip acoustic blueswomen Suzy Thompson and Del Rey return with a memorable evening of red-hot music. Rocking out on blues, swing, novelty numbers, hillbilly rags, and originals, Berkeley's blues fiddle goddess and Seattle's resonator guitar queen stir things up with their masterful playing, show-stopping vocals, and humorous repartee.

A vital member of the Bay Area acoustic music landscape, Suzy's exuberant fiddling and vocals have graced bands such as California Cajun Orchestra, the Klezmorim, Blue Flame Stringband, and Bluegrass Intentions. She has been busy recently recording in Texas with Geoff Muldaur and Jim Kweskin. Currently touring throughout America, Mexico, Europe, and Australia, Del embraces host of genres when she plays her resonator parlor guitar, including blues, stride piano, jazz, and hillbilly boogie. A first-rate musician and vocalist, she delivers complex guitar grooves, witty, literate lyrics, sly humor, and some really fabulous outfits.

Both Suzy and Del have been regulars on the staff at Port Townsend's Country Blues Festival, have performed and recorded with Maria Muldaur, and have been guesting on each other's recordings. All this can be yours tonight! Don't miss them.
