Founded in Berkeley in 1993, Rebecca Riots spent nearly a decade regaling the folk music world with their catchy, thoughtful, up-tempo songs before taking a break for several years to pursue other aspects of their lives (a baby, public-school teaching, visits to Palestine, meditation retreats, and a solo CD were all involved).
