an evening of satire & social commentary
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $18.50

Here to provide solace (or at least a little perspective) in troubled times, Hollywood actor, author, storyteller, and comic Darryl Henriques once again takes the Freight stage for an evening of razor-sharp wit and off-the-wall observations on the human condition.

The man the San Francisco Chronicle once described as "an amalgam of Lenny Bruce, Paul Krassner, and Robin Williams" gained a loyal Bay Area following in the 1980s while working with the San Francisco Mime Troupe and the famed street theater performers East Bay Sharks. His credits in film, TV, and other life-impersonating situations include roles in Star Trek VI and The 13th Floor.

In Darryl's new show, "Him Still Do It!" the artist comes face to face with his mortality as he ponders the eternal questions posed by his personal guru, the Swami from Miami. Watch in awe as this master of the stream-of-consciousness monologue sidesteps the inevitable, avoids the unavoidable, and leaps across the unbridgeable chasm that separates theory and practice—not to mention making light of current events and standing on his hands.
