Join Libby McLaren's Voices Eclectica for a late afternoon show of choral singing guaranteed to fill your heart with delight! A group of 16 talented local woman singers making their Freight debut, Voices Eclectica is directed by Bay Area vocal and choral treasure, Libby McLaren, as they perform an irresistibly wide-ranging repertoire, from English madrigals to swing era favorites, plus songs by Kitka, Holly Near, and Robin Flower & Libby McLaren.

One half of the well-known duo, Robin Flower & Libby McLaren, Libby has four CDs released on the Little Cat label. She toured and recorded with The Roches in the 1980s, was Ronnie Gilbert's piano accompanist through the 1990s, and recorded and performed as a backup singer for Holly Near. Libby brings a wealth of knowledge and musicality to Voices Eclectica, as well as a rich solo voice, which is featured throughout many of their songs.

Voices Eclectica features Sue Londerville, Deborah Rego, Nancy Wilkinson, Jenny Jackson-Paton, Beth Summers, Kathy Davis, Emmy Sortor, Suzanne Leonardich, Nance Wilson, Sarah Mohr, Janan Apaydin, Christy Shepherd, Catherine Campaigne, Barbara Cohen, Laurie Mattioli, and Mary Bacon, with the outstanding piano accompaniment of Jennifer Jolly.
