post-modern mythic American music
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $18.50

Singer-songwriter Tracy Grammer casts a spell with her distinctive, velvety voice and her masterful violin, guitar, and mandolin playing. A writer of moving, luminous songs as well as a captivating performer, Tracy returns to the Freight tonight for an evening of eloquent music.

Having originally gained widespread recognition for her work with the late Dave Carter, Tracy carries on her role as interpreter of Dave's mystical and finely honed songs, including a number of his older and previously unrecorded compositions. She adds to the mix many of her own gorgeous originals, plus gems written by other artists including Paul Simon and Jackson Browne, from her new EP, Book of Sparrows.

Tracy is joined tonight by her touring partner, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jim Henry.
