"folk-rockin', sweet jazz, bluegrass, old-time swingin' quartet"
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $18.50

Smart, passionate songwriting, impeccable playing, toe-tapping rhythms, cheerful grins: what in the world is not to like about these guys? Combining originals and traditional tunes, old-time country and swing, Eastern European folk, and blues, Steppin' In It plays some of the liveliest and most rocking acoustic roots music around. With vintage instruments, contemporary know-how, and massive amounts of creative energy, this foursome from Lansing, Michigan accomplishes the tricky task of bringing the most traditional sounds into the present.

Songwriter Josh Davis provides the tunes and the haunting vocals, with string bassist Dominic Suchyta and multi-instrumentalist brothers Andy and Joe Wilson rounding out the group. Tonight they spotlight numbers from their recent CD, Simple Tunes for Troubled Times. Don't miss 'em!
