Part of the Bay Area's underground folk scene since 1990, Don't Look Back's eclectic, acoustic string band music ranges from old time and Cajun to western swing and roots country originals, all with thoughtful arrangements spotlighting their sweet, full-bodied vocal harmonies and hot instrumental playing. Tonight's performance showcases tunes old and new, with a tasty helping of toe-tapping selections from the band's album, A Retrospective, and plenty of original tunes thrown into the mix as well.

Don't Look Back features John Bidwell on dobro and lap steel guitars, Brian Bloom on guitar and mandolin, Willie Pettus on mandolin and guitar, John Croizat on fiddle and mandolin, and Dale Scott on string bass and bass guitar. Formed in Santa Cruz in the mid-1980s, this veteran band have a smooth and relaxed performing style and a great down-home stage presence.
