The Trio Concertino—flautist Amy Likar, viola player Madeline Prager, and pianist Miles Graber—combine in this unusual arrangement for a delightful program of seldom-heard chamber music by Bach, Bloch, and Durufle. The cool silvery flute, warm husky viola, and rich sonorities of the piano produce an alchemy onstage that is truly magical. Amy, Madeline, and Miles perform as members of many local ensembles; the chance to hear them together in the Trio Concertino is an opportunity not to be missed.
