the next bluegrass generation
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $18.50

The buzz on The Lovell Sisters is, catch 'em now so you can tell people you saw them "back when." It's easy to see why: the dazzling musicianship and heavenly harmonies put out by the three young siblings burst with so much potential it's dizzying. Their infectious fusion of folk, bluegrass, country, and contemporary acoustic music, plus their prodigious talent and great debut album, When Forever Rolls Around, has propelled the three into the spotlight everywhere from International Bluegrass Music Association showcases to the Prairie Home Companion's 2005 National Teen Talent Contest—which they won handily.

Based in Calhoun, Georgia, the classically trained sisters have been singing and playing together since they were small. In their current two-year-old band, Jessica takes lead vocals and fiddle, Megan provides vocals and masterful dobro, and Rebecca adds her vocals and award-winning mandolin playing (in May 2006, Rebecca became the first female to win the MerleFest International Mandolin Competition). Add to this dynamite guitarist Jake Stargel and bassist Andy Nall, and you're in for quite an evening! Don't miss them.
