With its close-knit harmonies, introspective lyrics, and memorable folk anthems, the acoustic duo Storyhill has spent nearly two decades building a huge word-of-mouth following and a solid presence in the modern folk scene.
Montana natives Chris Cunningham and John Hermanson return to the Freight with more strong, melodic songs from their recent self-titled CD which blends americana and traditional folk into catchy tunes with satisfyingly sharp, emotion-packed lyrics. With voices reminiscent of the Everly Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel, the duo creates a sound both classical and completely fresh.
